Welcome to the Tidewater Inn, nestled in the heart of down Easton, a vibrant arts and cultural center recently ranked eighth in the book “The 100 Best Small Towns in America”. The Chesapeake Bay and many charming Eastern Shore towns are minutes away from downtown Easton offering an array of land and sea activities.
We invite you to visit Easton throughout the year to experience all the wonderful events that take place at the Tidewater Inn and on the Eastern Shore. Our community features world renowned events and festivals every year such as the Waterfowl Festival in November, the Plein Air Competition and Arts Festival in July, plus all the amazing shows at the Avalon Theatre just across the street from the Tidewater.

Spend An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe
Step into the world of Edgar Allan Poe at Tidewater Inn on Saturday, October 31st, at 5:30 PM in the Crystal Room, for a unique evening of storytelling, poetry, and spirits!
Tickets are $120 per person and include the experience, three-course paired menu and gratuity. This event is reserved for guests aged 21 and older. No substitutions available.
France vs. Italy Wine Dinner
France or Italy . . . which will win your palate?
Join us for our France vs. Italy Wine Dinner on Thursday, November 5th from 6 PM to 8 PM, featuring 4 courses + 4 wine pairings inspired by two of the world’s most celebrated culinary destinations.
Each course will showcase a French component vs. an Italian component, paired with wines to complement every bite. Taste your way through the evening, compare each side, and decide for yourself - are you Team France or Team Italy?

Featured shows at the Avalon Theatre & Stoltz Listening Room
The Avalon Theatre has been a staple of downtown Easton since the early 1920's featuring theater, symphony orchestras, national acts and local talent. Wedding Open House
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome prospective couples to the Tidewater Inn for our Open House. This is a wonderful opportunity to tour our stunning venues and hotel, explore Easton, and hear the latest Tidewater Inn news! We are offering an Open House from 10:00 am-12:00 pm every Saturday, no appointment is necessary. We are also offering limited tours by appointment only during the week.
