Welcome to the Tidewater Inn, nestled in the heart of down Easton, a vibrant arts and cultural center recently ranked eighth in the book “The 100 Best Small Towns in America”. The Chesapeake Bay and many charming Eastern Shore towns are minutes away from downtown Easton offering an array of land and sea activities.
We invite you to visit Easton throughout the year to experience all the wonderful events that take place at the Tidewater Inn and on the Eastern Shore. Our community features world renowned events and festivals every year such as the Waterfowl Festival in November, the Plein Air Competition and Arts Festival in July, plus all the amazing shows at the Avalon Theatre just across the street from the Tidewater.

Brew & Oyster Brawl
Get ready to shuck, sip, and celebrate at the 13th Annual Brew & Oyster Brawl at the Tidewater Inn! Join us on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM for an afternoon packed with Eastern Shore flavor, featuring oysters every which way, a locally inspired menu, and plenty of craft brews. Enjoy the sounds of Bird Dog & the Road Kings while sipping from our open beer, wine, and soda bar. Gather your friends, raise a glass, and dive into one of the Shore’s favorite fall traditions!
Tickets are $125 and must be purchased via Ticketleap. This event is for guests 21 and older.

Grinchmas Jingle & Mingle Trivia Night
Wednesday, December 10th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Get ready to laugh, compete, and celebrate the season at our Grinchmas Jingle & Mingle Trivia Night! Gather your crew in your most festive (or Grinchiest) attire and put your holiday knowledge to the test with MC Steve Moody leading the fun. Enjoy holiday sips with two drink tickets, a tableside charcuterie & cheese board, crab dip, “Grinch” popcorn, and sweet holiday treats while competing for prizes for Top Trivia Team, Best Dressed, and Best Team Name. For three days every November, between 18,000 and 20,000 visitors discover the best of local wildlife, nature, art, heritage, food, and fun at the Waterfowl Festival. Featured shows at the Avalon Theatre & Stoltz Listening Room
The Avalon Theatre has been a staple of downtown Easton since the early 1920's featuring theater, symphony orchestras, national acts and local talent. Wedding Open House
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome prospective couples to the Tidewater Inn for our Open House. This is a wonderful opportunity to tour our stunning venues and hotel, explore Easton, and hear the latest Tidewater Inn news! We are offering an Open House from 10:00 am-12:00 pm every Saturday, no appointment is necessary. We are also offering limited tours by appointment only during the week.
