Welcome to the Tidewater Inn, nestled in the heart of down Easton, a vibrant arts and cultural center recently ranked eighth in the book “The 100 Best Small Towns in America”. The Chesapeake Bay and many charming Eastern Shore towns are minutes away from downtown Easton offering an array of land and sea activities.
We invite you to visit Easton throughout the year to experience all the wonderful events that take place at the Tidewater Inn and on the Eastern Shore. Our community features world renowned events and festivals every year such as the Waterfowl Festival in November, the Plein Air Competition and Arts Festival in July, plus all the amazing shows at the Avalon Theatre just across the street from the Tidewater.

Celebrate New Year’s at the Tidewater Inn with festive experiences throughout the property. Join us on Wednesday, December 31st from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM for our Lobby Martini + Oyster Bar, featuring handcrafted martinis, Buck-a-Shuck oysters, $1 champagne oysters, and live music by Allie Pinsky.
Hunters’ Tavern will offer New Year’s Eve Specials on December 31st with a featured menu designed just for the occasion.
And right outside our front doors, Discover Easton will host its annual NYE “Crab Drop,” with two celebrations—one at 9:00 PM and another at MIDNIGHT.
On Thursday, January 1st, welcome the new year with our A La Carte Breakfast from 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM, followed by New Year’s Day Brunch from 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
New Orleans Jazz Brunch

Join us at the Tidewater Inn for a New Orleans–inspired Jazz Brunch featuring live music by the Naptown Brass Band. Enjoy a relaxed, lively brunch experience filled with great food, good company, and the unmistakable sounds of jazz.

Featured shows at the Avalon Theatre & Stoltz Listening Room
The Avalon Theatre has been a staple of downtown Easton since the early 1920's featuring theater, symphony orchestras, national acts and local talent. Wedding Open House
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome prospective couples to the Tidewater Inn for our Open House. This is a wonderful opportunity to tour our stunning venues and hotel, explore Easton, and hear the latest Tidewater Inn news! We are offering an Open House from 10:00 am-12:00 pm every Saturday, no appointment is necessary. We are also offering limited tours by appointment only during the week.
