The Tidewater Inn is dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of all who visit our Hotel. The safety of our guests and staff has always been, and will continue to be, our top priority. As we experience these unprecedented times together, we would like to put you at ease by being transparent about the measures we have been implementing to ensure that you have a safe, healthy, comfortable, and memorable stay with us.

We greatly appreciate all of your support and we will continue to do everything we can for our employees and our customers. We have an extraordinary community and know that after 10 years of business and our 70 year history, our Tidewater Inn family will get through this together alongside each and every one of you.

We continue to closely monitor the latest information from the CDC, WHO and EPA regarding the spread of COVID-19 [coronavirus] and have implemented measures to supplement the already vigorous cleaning protocols we have in place.

Below, we have detailed our enhanced cleaning and safety protocols throughout our hotel.

For the safety of everyone, our staff is required to wear facial coverings at all times throughout the property. Facial coverings are required for guests while indoors, unless seated and engaged in eating or drinking. Facial coverings are required for guests when outdoors and unable to socially distance.

If a guest is not willing to comply with these protocols, our staff will kindly offer a reminder before asking the guest to leave the property.

Proper face coverings and social distancing applies for all guests both vaccinated and unvaccinated.

With increased safety measures, hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the hotel. We ask that all guests use hand sanitizer before entering either building.

Employees are required to go through a symptom monitoring check before every shift.


Heightened cleaning protocols have been put in place to ensure all surfaces are frequently disinfected in both public spaces and guest rooms. In between each guest, we use a highly effective and efficient disinfectant fogger. Disinfectant fogger is also used in public spaces to ensure sanitation.

A glass partition have been installed at the Front Desk as an extra precaution.

    • *All tables are set with glassware, flatware and china once guests are seated
    • *Extensive staff training on our COVID protocols. Employee symptom monitoring before every shift.

Hunters' Tavern is open for breakfast in the restaurant on Friday-Sunday only, from 8:00am-10:30am. Every Monday-Thursday, you will receive a complimentary boxed continental breakfast delivered outside of your door each morning at 5:00am. Fresh coffee will continue to be available at the Front Desk.


Tidewater Inn is thrilled to offer a full-service luxury spa in the heart of downtown Easton. The Terrasse Spa features four treatment rooms offering the finest treatments from restorative massage, rejuvenating facials, and invigorating body treatments. The Tidewater Inn had a vision to create a spa destination that will awaken the senses combining tranquility, relaxation and hospitality for hotel guests and locals.

The Terrasse Spa has been deep cleaned and disinfected and is ready to safely open! Our staff has been extensively trained on extensive cleaning and safety procedures to ensure we are providing the safest environment for our guests and associates. We are dedicated to serving our guests and providing you with the very best experience.

Guidance for the day of your appointment: Our therapists will be wearing masks and require all guests to do the same. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment and call 410.822.1305 when you arrive in the parking lot. We will invite you in when your therapist is available. We kindly ask that you come alone as we are strictly enforcing our guest capacity at this time.

On your departure day, your final folio will be placed under your door and there will be a key drop-off box located at the Front Desk in the main lobby.


As a precaution, we are limiting the number of in-room amenities and have reinvented our stayover service. We are always here to assist you if there is anything needed during your stay.

Instructions for Stayover Service:

There are two (2) bags placed in your room: one (1) for dirty linen, and one (1) for trash. Once filled, please place outside of your door and call the Front Desk by dialing 0 for pick-up and kindly indicate any items you need replenished.

At this time, both our fitness and business centers will remain closed.

Complimentary coffee makers will be available only upon request.

We invite you to take advantage of our beautiful property and downtown location while maintaining safe, social distancing guidelines. Please inquire with us about bicycle rentals, outdoor activities, and available dining options in our local area.

Although things will be different for the time being, please know that we are still here for you with a smile…even under our face masks.
